Release Train Manager

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Release Train Manager to lead our Agile Release Trains. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of complex systems.

  • Lead and facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning, system demos, and Agile Release Train ceremonies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to define and prioritize features for large-scale Agile Release Trains.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve cross-team dependencies and risks to ensure alignment of delivery objectives across front-to-back functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Agile maturity across teams, promoting best practices in scaling frameworks such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Provide transparency into delivery status, metrics, and progress for senior stakeholders.
  • Support change and release management processes for highly regulated systems.

Requirements:

  • Must have 12+ years of IT experience with at least 3-5 years as a Release Train Engineer, Program Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead.
  • Proven experience in running large-scale Agile Release Trains with SAFe or equivalent framework.
  • Exposure to critical financial systems, preferably Murex or similar trading/risk platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, program management, and scaled delivery practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
