Key Role Summary:

Project Deliverables

We are seeking an experienced senior process engineer to deliver high-quality project outcomes in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Process industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project requirements and the ability to translate them into specifications and project deliverables. They will produce timely and high-quality project delivery, build and configure dynamic process and flow models, and run simulations for various scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop complex dynamic simulation process models and smart applications using Simulation and Optimization tools.
  2. Carry out dynamic process and control studies.
  3. Perform optimization and de-bottlenecking studies.
  4. Assist with Flow Assurance model building for Real-time production assurance systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years' experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations/process controls/process engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring, and First Principal modelling.
  • Familiarity with modeling tools such as Aspen Hysys, Aspen GDOT, KBC Petrosim, and Technip Spyro.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Real Time Optimization applications like ROMeo and APC applications like Rockwell Pavilion, Yokogawa smoc, Honeywell RMPCT, and ASPEN DMC plus.
  • Certification on modeling and simulation platforms like Aspen Plus/Hysys/Pro-II/Dynsim.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Domain knowledge and Chemical Engineering principles and operations.
  • Ability to work in a team and maintain good working relationships with customers.
