Role Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Company Secretary & Legal professional to join our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure company compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Provide advisory support to the board of directors and senior management on corporate governance.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of statutory returns and reports.
- Maintain and update statutory registers, books, and records as required by law.
- Advise on corporate governance practices and help implement best practices within the organization.
- Provide legal advice on various corporate and regulatory matters.
- Conduct compliance training for employees and management as needed.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on legal issues and potential risks.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and handle legal disputes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Law (LL.m.) and Company Secretary (CS) qualification from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
- Proven experience as a Company Secretary in a corporate setting.
- Deep knowledge of corporate laws, SEBI regulations, and other applicable statutes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
