Strategic Banking Policy Lead

We seek an experienced professional to drive the transformation of complex banking policies into configurable risk modules, covering credit decisioning, fraud prevention, and KYC/CDD/AML processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate intricate banking and regulatory policies into actionable specifications and adaptable rules.
  • Design and maintain risk modules for credit, fraud, and KYC/CDD/AML processes.
  • Develop reusable integration frameworks for third-party risk services.
  • Define and monitor risk metrics to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Client Success teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Support multi-tenant configurations and build risk dashboards for monitoring and analytics.
  • Ensure alignment with technical strategy, including decision engines, event-driven patterns, and risk monitoring frameworks.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in banking or fintech, with expertise in credit, fraud, or KYC/CDD/AML implementations.
  • Strong ability to translate policies into specifications and configurable rules.
  • Proficiency in requirement documentation, BPMN modeling, and API-first design.
  • Hands-on experience with third-party risk service integrations and knowledge of regulatory frameworks (AML/CFT, DPDP).
  • Skilled in SQL/BI tools for risk analytics and reporting.
  • Experience with multi-tenant configurations, risk dashboards, and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with decision engines, event-driven architectures, and risk monitoring frameworks.
