Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Solutions Specialist to join our global development team.

This role involves developing software applications for Ovation Green SCADA, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet collaborator requirements and customer expectations.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java programming language
  • Create new features, fix bugs, and expand existing applications to meet evolving business needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop technical specifications and designs for complex systems
  • Work on multi-layer, cross-platform applications using design patterns

You will have the opportunity to work with various technologies such as Java, SQL, and build tools like Ant and Maven. Our ideal candidate will have experience with object-oriented programming, solid understanding of Java ecosystem, and good knowledge of SQL.

In addition to technical skills, we value candidates who can communicate effectively, work well in a team environment, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development, preferably with core Java 5+
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and standard methodologies
  • Experience with Web sockets, Tomcat servlet engine, and JUnit tests
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems
