Seeking an experienced leader to drive the development of high-performance AI accelerators from scratch.

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge TPUs/MPUs and related AI blocks using RTL, ensuring seamless integration with physical design and DFT engineers.
  • Own IP/block-level RTL from specification to GDS, including design, synthesis, and timing closure, while optimizing for power, performance, and area.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interface with various engineering groups, drive design reviews, and write comprehensive design documentation.
  • Support post-silicon bring-up/debug activities and provide technical guidance on AI accelerator design, maintenance, and upgrades.
Requirements:

We seek a highly qualified individual with a B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in ECE/CS from a top-tier engineering institution, coupled with 5-15 years of experience in related fields.

  • Prior experience in high-performance processor or AI accelerator design is advantageous.
  • Excellent grasp of digital design fundamentals, computer architecture, virtual memory, and high-speed data-path design.
  • Strong proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and simulation tools, as well as EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence) for synthesis, lint, CDC, and timing analysis.
  • Clear understanding of floating-point arithmetic, vector processing, SIMD, MIMD, VLIW, EPIC concepts, and ability to apply them effectively in complex systems.
Bonus Skills:

Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms, Agile project management methodologies, and containerized workflows would be valuable assets.
