Job Title - Plant Quality Head (LV Panels)

Location - Noida

Experience - 15 Yrs

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a quality management system to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor and control quality processes across all stages of production, from raw material inspection to final product testing.
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to achieve quality objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, BIS) and customer-specific requirements for LV electrical panels.
  • Drive initiatives for process optimization, defect reduction, and quality improvement using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
  • Oversight testing procedures, including dielectric tests, temperature rise tests, and short-circuit withstand tests, to ensure product reliability and safety.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications and conduct supplier audits as needed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer queries, complaints, and audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or certifications in Quality Management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the LV electrical panel or similar electrical manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of LV electrical panel design, manufacturing processes, and testing standards (e.g., IEC 61439, UL 508A).
  • Expertise in QMS, Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software.
