Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our organization in the role of Internal Control Manager. This position is responsible for conducting independent reviews of internal controls, ensuring timely reporting to team members and management, and implementing control processes and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site internal control reviews and ensure timely implementation of control processes and corrective actions.
  • Undertake special projects to identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation, with a view to strengthening internal controls while reducing inefficiencies and inaccuracies.
  • Thoroughly assess all areas of risks and implement complete and effective risk management strategies across functional areas.
  • Facilitate the completion of mandatory statutory, corporate, and Asia reporting requirements.
  • Share best practices across regions and support location management teams during operational and financial audits.
  • Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documents to ensure compliance with US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant with over 8 years of experience in internal audit, accounting audit, or internal control roles, with at least 4 years in a Big 4 environment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to perform process audits and month-end reviews independently.
  • Outstanding knowledge of US GAAP and Indian Accounting standards.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • High adaptability and ability to work well under ambiguity.
  • Great attitude in high-pressure situations, with the ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
  • Strong work ethic and track record of taking on additional responsibility.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, detail-oriented, and strong time management skills.
