Job Title: Structural Parts Development Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Parts Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design and development group, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural parts and systems for our products.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality, deliverables, cost, and timing of these parts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including simulations, programs, production, testing, and manufacturing engineering to develop structural parts.

You will also develop simulation and testing DVPs with respective teams for structural parts, interpreting the outcomes of testing and simulations for improvement in designs. Additionally, you will develop DFMEA aligned with DVPs for structural parts and highlight risks while preparing mitigation plans for design projects/tasks.

As a Structural Parts Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to manage engineering BOMs and develop and update design standard documents. You will also document lessons learned and manage the knowledge base.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong problem-solving skills. You should have experience working with structural analysis software and be proficient in CAD design.
