VMware InfraOps Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced VMware InfraOps engineer to join our organization. As an integral member of the team, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and administering VMware Aria Suite of products, vCenter, NSX, ESXi, Cloud Director, and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement system automation scripts using Python or PowerShell.
  • Implement and operate VMware Aria Operations and VMware Aria Automation for monitoring, building alerting, and managing dashboards.
  • Administer Linux systems and develop software engineering and testing expertise.
  • Work with Enterprise Cloud environments and understand deployment practices from Development to Test to Staging to Production.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience with designing, implementing, administering, and operating VMware Aria Suite of products, vCenter, NSX, ESXi, Cloud Director, and other related technologies.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with system automation, scripting (Python or Powershell), and development.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Linux system administration or development.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with software engineering and testing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Enterprise Cloud environments.
  • Understanding of deployment practices from Development to Test to Staging to Production.
  • Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Ansible.
  • Experience with VMware API integration development.
  • Experience with Cloud networking, including VMware NSX.
  • Experience with IBM Cloud API integration development.
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory administration or development.
  • Experience with Windows SQL server administration or development.
  • Experience with Jenkins build and platforms.
  • Experience with Web UI development.
  • Experience with GitHub issue and code management.
  • Experience with networking, and network security components, firewalls, gateways.
  • Experience with secure engineering principles and best practices.
  • Experience with security standards, authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Telegraf.
  • Experience with VeeamOne.
