Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement software automation solutions, including design review to ensure alignment with implementation intentions, reuse of existing components, and assessment of effort levels.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of automation products and components through software development, system configuration, and peer code reviews.
  • Provide support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for issues affecting automation in production.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or another applicable STEM field.
  • 5 years of professional experience as an Automation, Cloud, DevOps, Software, or Systems engineer.
  • ADO YAML pipelines and/or GitHub Actions pipelines with GitHub Workflows for CI and CD.
  • API Management technology such as Azure APIM or MuleSoft CloudHub for managing, publishing, and securing API endpoints.
  • Azure cloud application and infrastructure hosting technologies, C#. and/or Python based software development of backend APIs and console applications.

Preferred Experience and Education:

  • A master's degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or another equivalent applicable STEM field.
  • Prior experience participating in a software COE.
