  • Databases play a vital role in the operation of most modern businesses, and we are seeking an experienced Database Professional to develop, implement, and maintain SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Design and Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain robust database systems that meet business needs.
  • Database Maintenance: Ensure databases are properly maintained, including backups and restores, to ensure high availability and data integrity.
  • Deployments Management: Manage database deployments to ensure best practices are followed and minimize downtime.
  • Database Security: Work with the security team to ensure database security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Database Migrations: Manage database migrations between servers and versions to ensure seamless transition.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with databases in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Vendor Support: Work with vendor support on any issues that require their assistance to ensure resolution.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain accurate documentation related to databases to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT team members, including the development team, to ensure system availability and performance.
  • Change Management: Create Change Management Requests with IT and Development to ensure smooth implementation of changes.
  • Reporting Support: Support reporting team members with database queries and data requirements to enable informed decision-making.
  • Power BI Support: Provide Power BI (and other reporting platforms) support to ensure effective data visualization and analysis.
  • AI Integrations: Work with the development team members for AI integrations to leverage machine learning capabilities.
  • Power BI Development: Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements to enhance data insights.
  • Data Optimization: Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability to ensure efficient data processing.
  • Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI using Power Query and DAX to provide a unified view.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure data accuracy and consistency across dashboards to maintain trust in data-driven decisions.
  • Row-Level Security: Implement row-level security and manage access permissions in Power BI to ensure sensitive data is protected.
