Accounting Leadership Role

Are you a seasoned accounting professional looking for a challenging leadership position? We are seeking an experienced Manager, Accounting to join our team.

As a Manager, Accounting, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. You will also manage the revenue recognition process, perform detailed accounting research, and effectively manage and lead staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the month-end close process, including the accurate and timely recording of income, expenses, and changes in assets and liabilities.
  • Review and approve journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement trend analyses for management.
  • Prepare quarterly lender compliance packages.
  • Ensure overall technical accounting compliance, including monitoring relevant IFRS and US GAAP developments.
  • Serve as an internal technical accounting expert, performing research and preparing technical accounting memos.
  • Work cross-functionally during contract negotiation, analyzing the impact of non-standard contract terms.
  • Participate in quarterly forecasting procedures and the annual budget process.


Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years of financial and accounting experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience required.

  • BS or BA in Accounting.
  • CPA/CA Certification preferred.
