About the Role

As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining an efficient operation by constantly analyzing quality and cost of food production.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining set standards, monitoring time management, and providing ongoing training to drive excellence in our kitchen operations.
  • Ensuring safe, quality food products and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction through your dedication and expertise.
  • Developing and implementing systems, procedures, rules, objectives, and timescales that align with our organization's goals.
  • Working within a technical/specialized area of expertise to enhance service and product quality through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Avoiding cross-contamination in kitchen operations to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Mentoring and supporting subordinates to boost morale, personal esteem, and overall job satisfaction.
  • Conducting daily food tastings and promptly addressing any discrepancies to ensure consistency and quality.
Key Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Advanced culinary skills, leadership abilities, and relevant experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the profession (Quality Hotels and Restaurants).
  • Fluent written and spoken English communication skills to effectively collaborate with our team.
  • The ability to lead, make decisions, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills

We also welcome candidates with:

  • Cruise Ship Experience or a background in 5-star Hotel Operations.
  • Fluency in additional languages to enhance our culinary team's diversity and global appeal.
