Quality and Food Safety Lead Job
About the Role:- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quality management, with expertise in leading cross-functional teams, driving compliance, and ensuring global standards in food exports.
This leadership position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in quality and food safety, preferably with psyllium, oil seeds, or spices. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the QA/QC team across production, lab, and documentation, as well as overseeing internal, customer, and third-party audits.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the QA/QC team to drive continuous improvement projects that reduce defects and enhance food safety culture.
- Develop and implement SOPs, CCPs, PRPs, and other quality-related documents to ensure effective implementation.
- Manage organic certifications (NOP/NPOP/EU/USDA), transaction certificates, and maintain mass balance & traceability records to ensure organic integrity.
- Drive supplier audits, vendor compliance, and raw material quality assurance to ensure high-quality products are delivered to customers.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints, recalls, and CAPA in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, export, marketing) to drive business growth and improve overall performance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality and food safety, preferably with psyllium, oil seeds, or spices.
- Proven track record in quality management, with expertise in leading cross-functional teams, driving compliance, and ensuring global standards in food exports.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
