Job Title: Senior Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our accounting operations. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on expertise in managing end-to-end accounting, compliance, audits, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
  • Conduct variance analysis, profitability analysis, and financial forecasting for better decision-making.
  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and expense management.
  • Implement cost optimization strategies for manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • Monitor working capital requirements and ensure proper fund utilization.
  • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns, handle all statutory compliances related to manufacturing and export-import transactions, and liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Manage internal, statutory, and tax audits, strengthen internal controls, and implement financial risk management processes.
  • Oversee vendor payments, client receivables, credit control, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments and maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Handle domestic and international transactions including forex and export documentation.
  • Lead and mentor the accounts team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in operations.
  • Implement process improvements and adopt technology to drive automation.
  • Act as a business partner to management, providing financial insights for strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) / MBA Finance preferred.
  • Minimum 7-12 years of accounting & finance experience, preferably in manufacturing/export industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI compliance.
  • Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle) and MS Excel (Advanced functions).
  • Familiarity with export-import documentation and international transactions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
