Instructional Documentation Developer

The role involves creating high-quality instructional documentation to communicate complex information effectively to various audiences.

  • A bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or a related field is required.

This position requires experience with project management and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing detailed documentation of software processes and systems.
  • Maintaining a library of documentation and cataloging it for internal and external use.
  • Collaborating with technical staff, managers, and executives to understand their needs and develop relevant documentation.
  • Representing information in visual/graphical forms to augment textual descriptions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing and editing/communications.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Word.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying complex ideas clearly.
  • English language: Thorough knowledge of grammar, spelling, and usage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using graphics/illustration software to create visual aids.
  • Project management skills, including organizing multiple documentation projects and tracking progress.
