We are seeking an experienced Low Power Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating power specifications for Qualcomm DSP IPs based on design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create power specifications for Qualcomm DSP IPs based on design specifications
  • Develop power intent using UPF for DSP IPs based on power specifications
  • Validate power intent at RTL and gate level (synthesis and PD) using CLP
  • Fix power intent issues based on PA DV feedback
  • Debug issues related to MV cell insertion during synthesis and modify UPF accordingly
  • Project dynamic and leakage power of DSP IPs during project execution
  • Generate dynamic and leakage power numbers using PTPX and track them at different stages of implementation
  • Highlight issues related to dynamic and leakage power mismatch compared to targets and work with Synthesis and PD teams to resolve issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams (SOC, Sub System etc) for smooth handoff of power intent and dynamic & leakage power numbers at different stages of project execution

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering or related field.
