As a Shooting Coach, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a structured shooting program that fosters skill, discipline, and excellence in the sport.

About This Role
  • You will train students across age groups, nurture talent for competitive levels, and ensure safety, technique, and holistic development through the sport.
  • Your primary goal is to design and deliver training sessions for beginners, intermediate, and advanced shooters focusing on technical, tactical, and mental skills required in shooting sports.
  • You must identify and nurture talent for district, state, national, and international competitions.
  • Additionally, you will provide individualized guidance to enhance performance and confidence.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Establish a structured shooting curriculum integrated with the school's sports vision.
    • Promote shooting as a sport of focus, discipline, and concentration.
    • Coordinate with school management for event participation and talent promotion.
    • Ensure inclusivity encouraging both recreational and competitive participation.
  • Other Key Responsibilities Include:
    • Maintain records of equipment usage, servicing, and inventory.
    • Train students in responsible use and care of equipment.
    • Monitor and evaluate student performance and progress.
    • Share feedback and progress reports with students, parents, and school leadership.
    • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, performance outcomes, and competition results.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or equivalent (preferred).
  • Certified Shooting Coach (National Rifle Association of India or equivalent certification mandatory).
  • Additional certifications in sports psychology or fitness training (desirable).
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Shooting Coach, with a proven track record of coaching at school, academy, or competitive levels.
  • Experience training students for district/state/national-level competitions.
  • Prior experience in an international or progressive school setting is an advantage.
