AS400/RPG Application Development Lead

Seeking a skilled and experienced developer to lead the development of applications on the AS400/RPG platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of RPG IV, CLLE, ILE concepts, and experience working with OMS, Inventory, WMS, and PO modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Create projects in a modular fashion and encourage re-use of code.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Requirements:

  • 12 - 20 years of experience on IBM i / AS/400 platform.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong debugging skills using STRDBG, job logs, and error analysis.
  • Experience with batch jobs, interactive screens, menus, and subfiles.
  • Understanding of business workflows in the supply chain or retail domain.
  • API development on IBM i using Open Access or web services.
