Frontend Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled frontend engineer to lead the development of our applications and shape the user experience in a mission-driven company. Our team is focused on revolutionizing the agri-tech industry by connecting farmers directly to consumers through three dedicated apps.

  • Admin React.js web app for farm management
  • React Native mobile app for delivery drivers
  • React Native mobile app for end customers

Our upcoming Version 2.0 promises significant enhancements in user experience and performance. We are seeking an experienced frontend engineer who can take end-to-end ownership of modern, impactful products.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, architecture, and maintenance of all frontend apps (admin, driver, customer)
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product teams to rapidly deliver new features
  • Own and champion code quality, maintainability, and performance across projects
  • Mentor and review code for junior engineers to uphold development excellence
  • Advocate for modern frontend best practices, with an emphasis on automated testing, accessibility, and usability
  • Drive innovation in UI/UX—quickly prototype and implement the latest technologies for frictionless user journeys
Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in React.js and React Native app development

  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux, and UI frameworks (such as Material UI)
  • Strong background in unit/automated testing and continuous integration (CI/CD)
  • Track record of optimizing performance and ensuring application security
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing complex app state
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and effective cross-functional collaboration
