The successful candidate will be able to recognize errors and opportunities for improvement in information deliverables and communicate complex issues in a technical and non-technical manner. They will also be able to work independently to understand new concepts and take initiative to identify and remove project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation packages for software solution offerings
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and the implementation team to refine the technical documentation package
  • Conducting research and analysis to fill gaps in existing documentation
  • Establishing and evaluating effective document presentation methods
  • Participating in daily Scrum stand-up meetings, regular planning and review meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree + experience in technical writing and/or technical documentation for complex software systems
  • Engineering degree and prior experience developing enterprise-level software documentation (an advantage)
  • Proven experience in a highly technical field, such as software development, computer science, or engineering
  • Excellent understanding of principles for effective technical writing
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of documenting software products
