Job Title: Software Application Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Application Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships and leading application packaging projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software development and IT, with expertise in VB/WMI scripting, Batch Scripting, PowerShell scripting, and PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer relationships as the primary point of contact for application packaging requirements.
  • Lead Windows 7/8/10 migration projects, focusing on application packaging and testing.
  • Develop and implement efficient packaging processes using Admin Studio/Install shield.
  • Pursue excellence in application testing and remediation techniques, ensuring seamless compatibility with Windows 7/8 operating systems.
  • Mastery of VMware Workstation/Oracle Virtual Box is required for virtual builds.
  • Proven knowledge of creating/repackaging applications using various packaging tools such as Wise or Admin Studio.
  • In-depth understanding of Windows Installer Technologies - MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, Standard Actions.
  • Expertise in Application Virtualization Technologies, including App-V 4.6, 5.0.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting using tools like FileMon/RegMon, PictureTaker, etc.
