Embedded Systems Designer Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Systems Designer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust embedded software solutions for real-time applications. You will work closely with hardware and systems teams to define and refine embedded system architecture, implement and optimize low-level communication protocols, and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software solutions using C programming language.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine embedded system architecture.
  • Implement and optimize low-level communication protocols and device drivers.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems at both software and hardware integration levels.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in embedded systems and cybersecurity.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction and support.

Requirements:

  • 6-12 years of experience in embedded software development using C on Linux platforms.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design and analysis for embedded systems.
  • Proven expertise in developing and debugging firmware and device drivers.
  • Practical knowledge of networking concepts and cybersecurity fundamentals in embedded environments.
  • Experience working with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.
  • Exposure to scripting languages like Python for automation and testing is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
