Cloud Infrastructure Professional

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure solutions.

This is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, including OpenStack, containerization, and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
  • You will collaborate with other professionals to develop automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • You will integrate cloud infrastructure with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Ceph storage clusters for high availability and optimal performance.
  • Manage block storage (Cinder), file storage (Manila), and object storage (such as Ceph RGW/S3, Swift, or equivalent).
  • Maintain and optimize OpenStack control plane and compute resources for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Integrate OpenStack environments with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience with OpenStack, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience deploying OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible (container-based deployment) and TripleO (bare-metal deployment).
  • Relevant 3-5 years of experience with containerization technologies, primarily Docker.
  • Relevant 2-3 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift administration.
  • Proficiency in Ceph storage setup and management for block, file, and object storage (S3, Swift, or equivalent).
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration (preferably RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments (VLANs, VXLANs, routing, firewalls, load balancing).
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • RHCE certified.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
