Counterparty Risk Associate

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Counterparty Risk Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing counterparty risk of the bank on account of financial market products in line with RBI guidelines/internal policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of treasury products such as forwards, options, and swaps.
- Set up limits in the treasury system (Murex) and monitor them regularly.
- Prepare and circulate credit exposure reports to stakeholders within agreed timelines.
- Monitor exceptions/excess on account of trades done and report to stakeholders promptly.
- Provide timely internal MIS and RBI reporting.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders and resolve queries from FM/treasury back office/mid office/ORM/Audit.
- Review existing processes, provide inputs, and participate in UAT testing for system enhancements/changes.
- A post-graduation degree in finance/banking or equivalent qualifications.
- Fresh CA/CFA certification or perusing CA, FRM preferable.
- At least 2 years of relevant job experience.
