Counterparty Risk Specialist

This role will focus on developing and reviewing counterparty risk models for various legal entities across the globe, including the US and EMEA regions.
- Provide in-depth analysis and consultation on credit risk quantification. Collaborate with global development teams to implement models and systems.
- Work on regulatory requirements including back testing, model performance reviews, calibration, user acceptance testing, documentation of models, and more.
- Implement risk models into strategic risk systems, including developing methodologies, building prototypes, writing technical business requirement documents, performing model testing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Risk IT on the strategic implementation of various initiatives.
- Participate in periodic model performance reviews and calibration of model parameters.
- Provide necessary analysis to aid regulatory reviews and inspections.

- Sufficient exposure to quantification of counterparty risk and regulatory landscape.
- Basic understanding of stochastic calculus, derivative pricing, and Monte Carlo simulation.
- Proficiency in Excel-VBA/Python.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills, multi-tasking, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
