As a Senior Sustainability Expert, you will play a key role in providing expert advice on environmental regulations and consent requirements to clients. You will work closely with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and community groups to promote transparency and collaboration throughout the consent process.

Main Responsibilities
  • Environmental Impact Assessment
  • Conduct thorough assessments of potential environmental impacts and prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Engagement
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for stakeholder engagement and public consultation, ensuring timely and informed decision-making processes.
  • Mentorship and Leadership
  • Mentor and lead junior consultants, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in environmental consents, planning, or a related role, with a proven track record of project success.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK environmental legislation, regulations, and best practices relevant to consents and compliance.
