About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our data strategy and drive business growth through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)\
• Develop and maintain industry-accepted data architecture principles and integrate them with other domains\
• Drive the design, sizing, provisioning, and setup of GCP environments and related services\
• Collaborate closely with the leadership team to shape and drive the organization's cloud and data strategy\
• Advise on emerging GCP trends and services, and recommend adoption strategies to maintain competitive edge\
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure effective communication of data strategy and initiatives\
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver complex data and analytics solutions\\[/ul>

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in designing and implementing data architecture solutions on GCP

Strong understanding of different data modeling techniques—Relational, Star, Snowflake, DataVault, etc.

Familiarity with Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and Data products

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to think strategically and drive business outcomes through data-driven decision making

Proven track record of delivering multiple data and analytics solutions on GCP

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics

Knowledge of cloud security and compliance best practices

Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems

Ability to mentor and develop junior team members

Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities

Experience working with large datasets and developing scalable data architectures

Strong SQL skills and ability to write efficient queries
