  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Design Phase: Oversee the concept design phase, transforming ideas into practical designs that meet project requirements.
  • Conduct Feasibility Studies: Perform stress analysis, material selection, and cost estimation to ensure designs are viable and meet project objectives.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with manufacturing, production, and quality control teams to ensure designs are efficiently produced.
  • Generate Engineering Drawings: Create detailed documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Perform Design Reviews: Assess potential design risks and implement necessary improvements.
  • Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest tools and technologies to ensure designs remain cutting-edge and competitive.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong emphasis on concept design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Solid Edge.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in performing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other simulation techniques to validate designs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all design work.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex design concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
