Senior Cooling Systems Designer

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Cooling Systems Designer with a strong background in designing efficient cooling solutions for hyperscale data centers.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  1. Cooling System Design Leadership: Develop and optimize innovative cooling solutions, including chilled water systems, direct expansion (DX) systems, air and liquid cooling technologies, and alternative cooling methods.
  2. Select and specify cooling equipment, components, and materials, considering energy efficiency, scalability, and system integration.
  3. Awareness of Industry Standards i.e. ASHRAE, ISHRAE, Carrier Handbooks, IS Standards, Eurovent, AHRI, SMACNA, ASME etc.
Main Responsibilities Continued:
  1. Design and optimize cooling infrastructure for data centers to maintain desired temperature and humidity levels, ensuring efficient performance, system reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  2. Buffer tank Calculation & thermal override calculation
  3. Co-ordinating with vendors for product selection and integration of equipment's in overall Master design
  4. Preparation of Heat load calculation, Power Usage Effectiveness Calculations (PUE), Technical specifications, schematics for Tendering
About the Role:

This position requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of thermal management, HVAC systems, and energy-efficient cooling technologies critical to the operation of large-scale, high-performance data centers.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Building Services, Energy Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design and engineering of cooling systems for large-scale, hyperscale data centers or mission-critical facilities.
