Job Overview:

This role involves developing, implementing, and managing the organization's IT security governance programs to ensure alignment with business objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across IT, legal, audit, and business units to assess risks and drive a culture of information security.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and enforcing IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Developing governance frameworks to ensure security controls align with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on IT security best practices, frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT), and industry trends.
  • Driving continuous improvement of the organization's security governance program.
  • Leading the IT risk management program including risk identification, assessment, treatment, and reporting.

Additional responsibilities include overseeing periodic risk assessments, vulnerability management reviews, and mitigation tracking, managing IT compliance initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing enterprise risk management or compliance programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and translate complex technical concepts into business-relevant language.
