Software Solutions Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Solutions Specialist to join our team at Nasdaq. As a key member of our Financial Regulatory Solutions team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.



Main Responsibilities:




  • Work closely with clients to understand their financial regulatory requirements and provide expert solutions to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop, and implement custom reporting solutions for clients.
  • Analyze financial regulatory requirements and their impact on our clients, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Participate in the evaluation of technical issues and drive product upgrade delivery planning with clients.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to describe developments, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
  • Build, test, and deliver hotfixes, and request product fixes from the internal product team.
  • Keep ownership/accountability for open tickets and ensure timely resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development and financial regulatory compliance.


Requirements:




  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong database/SQL knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with scheduling tools, such as Control M and Autosys, and knowledge of XML and Java.
  • Good understanding of financial markets and products, and a preference for experience in FINTECH.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Motivated to learn independently and adapt to changing requirements.
  • English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global environment.
