Backend Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Backend Systems Engineer to lead the development of our platform's backend infrastructure. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend systems, including APIs, data storage, and security measures.

  • Lead the development of our platform's backend infrastructure, including the design and implementation of APIs, data storage, and security measures.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code using Java, Kotlin, and AWS cloud services.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

Additionally, we require:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a backend engineering role.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers and stakeholders.
  • A 5-minute introduction video is required for the initial screening process.
