Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SHE professional to join our organization as a Health and Safety Manager. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) management, a degree or diploma in Health and Safety, and excellent communication and training skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating awareness of SHE policies and procedures within the organization, advising and assisting the business in effective SHE management, maintaining SHE manuals and records, organizing and conducting health and safety training, briefings and inspections, recommending correction and improvement strategies, monitoring and updating the business on new or revised SHE standards and regulations, and ensuring all incidents are properly investigated and appropriate follow-up actions are taken.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create awareness of SHE policies and procedures within the organization.
  • Advise and assist the Business in effective SHE Management.
  • Maintain SHE manual, procedures, Legislations, Codes, Standards and other related records.
  • Organise and conduct health and safety training, briefings and inspections.
  • Recommend correction and improvement strategies for the business.
  • Monitor and update business on new or revised SHE standards, regulations from regional office, authorities or customers.
  • Ensure all incidents are properly investigated and appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
