Job Description

As a key member of the finance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic and operational leadership of finance functions for Banqueting & Catering businesses. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial planning for banquet and catering operations.

  • Lead and manage accounts, payables/receivables, cost control, revenue optimization, and internal controls.
  • Review and analyze P&L, cash flows, and operational metrics specific to banquet and catering projects.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulations; coordinate with auditors and tax authorities.
  • Implement financial best practices, controls, and ERP systems tailored to banqueting/catering.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • CA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent, with experience in hospitality/banqueting/catering.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of overall finance experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, compliance, MIS, financial modeling, event/catering cost controls.
  • Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or hospitality ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High integrity and process orientation; experience in audit and statutory reporting.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on the following key responsibilities:

  1. Drive strategic and operational leadership of finance functions for Banqueting & Catering businesses.

  7. Partner with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events, track margins, and control expenses.
  8. Support leadership in decision-making with clear financial analysis and recommendations.
  9. Mentor and supervise the finance team; drive a culture of continuous process improvement and financial integrity.
  10. Manage vendor contracts, payment cycles, and timely disbursements to suppliers and service partners.
  11. Conduct variance analysis, highlight cost-saving opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
