Senior Enterprise Network Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Network Security Specialist to join our team at Mastercard.
About the RoleThis is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all audit and compliance processes for our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current network technologies and the methods in which they are securely implemented. They should also have previous experience interacting with external regulators and a thorough knowledge of industry standard IT security controls.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing sustainable strategies to ensure compliance for all network security controls and regulatory requirements;
- Interacting directly with internal technology risk leads and external regulators to demonstrate security control compliance;
- Developing remediation plans for any known network security gaps;
- Interacting directly with internal and external auditors to provide documentation and evidence that satisfies network security controls;
- Overseeing all audit and compliance tasks on behalf of the Network program to ensure successful completion by regulatory deadlines;
- Creating and documenting new processes and procedures for the Network Architecture, Engineering, and Operations teams while also improving the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes and procedures;
- Developing metrics and reporting to ensure senior management has visibility of the compliance status of the network environment.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Network or Security administration, architecture, engineering, or operations for various network hardware platforms (Arista, Cisco, Aruba, Check Point, Palo Alto) in a large enterprise environment;
- Strong knowledge of Information Security controls, processes, and frameworks (NIST, PCI, COBIT, COSO, ISO, SOC);
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required;
- Bachelor's Degree with a major relevant to Information Technology; and
- Professional credentials (e.g., CIA, CISA, CISSP, or equivalent).
The estimated salary for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
