Job Title: Senior/Lead/Principal Member Technical Staff

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop core distributed database system functionalities.
  • Create new architecture and design to solve complex scalability problems.
  • Implement comprehensive functional and system-test for your area of responsibility and overall database quality.
  • Collaborate with the broader database team to integrate projects/features and review code, design, and test strategies.
  • Develop high-quality features and own their implementation.
  • Solve customer issues with urgency while maintaining customer trust.

Requirements:

  • 13+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years of direct database kernel development experience.
  • BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or a related field with strong CS fundamentals.
  • Experience in building complex, high-performance cloud-native features.
  • Working in a high-pace environment and Agile development.
  • C++ server development skills, Java knowledge preferred.
  • Database kernel development experience, particularly working on critical areas of a successful RDBMS.
  • Innovative feature delivery experience for major software systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Distributed systems expertise.
