Engine Field Service Technician

This role is for a highly skilled technician with extensive experience in engine field service. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex engine products at customer locations.

About the Role

This position involves working independently to diagnose and repair engine problems, often requiring specialized tools and equipment. The technician must have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively interact with customers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Establish and maintain productive relationships with customers to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery.
    • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Utilize specialized tools and procedures to diagnose and repair complex engine problems.
    • Perform preventative maintenance on engines and related components to prevent future issues.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Complete accurate and detailed documentation of all work performed, including service worksheets and timesheets.
    • Report any issues or incidents to management in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Field Service Experience
    • At least 5 years of experience in field service, preferably in the engine industry.
  • Technical Knowledge
    • Expert-level knowledge of engine systems and diagnostic techniques.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with customers and other stakeholders.
