Job Description

As a Functional Consultant, you will play a vital role in resolving SAP issues reported by business users and delivering change and enhancements as required. Your primary responsibility will be to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.

You will interact with business users for requirement gathering and provide timely updates on progress made. This will ensure seamless communication and collaboration within the team.

  • Functional understanding of work streams is essential.
  • Business processes in life sciences/pharmaceutical domain should be well understood.
  • Ability to understand business requirements, prepare functional specifications, perform configuration changes, assist technical teams, and conduct system and integration testing.
  • Exposure to highly customized SAP environments and interfaces with Non-SAP systems is necessary.
  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes and integration of SAP modules is required.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and application lifecycle management is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in large and diverse teams is crucial.
  • Experience with Run SAP methodologies is preferred.
  • Various estimation techniques and excellent communication skills are advantageous.
  • Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences/pharmaceutical domain is required.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
  • Willingness to work in shifts is necessary.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving is required.
  • Experience working in globally distributed teams is beneficial.
