Job Title: Cybersecurity Threat Analyst

Job Description:

Cybersecurity teams rely on highly skilled analysts to investigate and respond to security incidents. As a Cybersecurity Threat Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, triaging, and investigating alerts from various security tools and platforms.

  • Monitor and analyze security-related data to identify potential threats.
  • Triage and investigate alerts to determine their validity and potential impact.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of emerging threats and attack techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage security tools and technologies to enhance the organization's defenses.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement incident response plans.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably in a SOC or threat analysis environment.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts, including threat intelligence, incident response, and risk management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and other security tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell.
  • CISSP or CEH certification is a plus.
