Database Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled database engineer to manage and optimize Azure PostgreSQL databases for robust performance.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient database management systems using Azure PostgreSQL technology.
  • Implement quality control functionality for business rules (logic) in databases to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Design, build, and manage data pipelines using database technologies to support business growth.
  • Migrate business rules from one database technology to another to enhance system scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data solutions that align with security initiatives and best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize data processes to ensure adherence to data governance regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure data quality and accessibility.
Requirements
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing database-driven applications and pipeline development using Azure PostgreSQL and SQL Server Database.
  • Strong understanding of security principles in the context of data.
  • Ability to write, debug, and optimize data transformations and datasets.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing ETL solutions using Azure Database or similar technologies.
