Job Description

The primary role of an Oracle Database Administrator involves overseeing the daily operations of company databases.

This includes tasks such as database administration, replication, troubleshooting, and security to ensure the smooth functioning of all company databases.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle database software for optimal performance and reliability.
  2. Implementing and maintaining robust database security measures to protect sensitive data and comply with regulatory requirements.
  3. Optimizing database performance by identifying bottlenecks, tuning SQL queries, and configuring database parameters.
  4. Troubleshooting complex database issues, including performance problems, data corruption, and system failures.
  5. Developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies using RMAN to ensure business continuity and minimize data loss.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a strong foundation in database concepts and administration.

Additionally, you should have experience with Oracle DBA, a good understanding of Oracle database architecture, and familiarity with Oracle Concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL.

As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be proficient in:
