Our team seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee the entire AP/AR process. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of accounting and finance principles, with hands-on experience in accounts payable and receivable.Job Responsibilities:
  • Accurately generate customer invoices within specified timelines.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely resolution.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and address any billing discrepancies that may arise.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Process customer payments, apply cash receipts, and maintain accurate records for easy reference.
  • Support cash flow forecasting by providing timely AR collection status.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to identify doubtful debts and prepare provisions accordingly.
Accounts Payable:
  • Process invoices accurately and within the stipulated timeframe, ensuring all necessary approvals and coding are properly verified.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and promptly address any discrepancies that may occur.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Monitor vendor payment terms to optimize working capital effectively.
  • Manage vendor master data accurately (new vendor creation, changes, and compliance checks).
  • Prepare and process payments using various methods, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and related documentation.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis on payables/receivables aging, cash flow, and other relevant metrics.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
