Job Role

A seasoned professional sought to manage Corporate Actions and Income transactions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process diverse corporate action and income events on equities, bonds, or hedge fund products.
  • Maintain seamless integration with global interfaces within the value chain.
  • Cultivate in-depth knowledge of corporate action processes, including cash and stock dividends.
  • Analyze various corporate action notices to ensure accurate processing.
  • Determine break resolutions related to corporate actions.
  • Validate and confirm corporate action-related events promptly.
  • Compute entitlements and accruals accurately.
  • Efficiently process redemptions, coupons, and dividend events.
  • Reconcile activities to guarantee precision and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Adhere to strict schedule adherence to minimize financial liabilities.
Operational Management
  • Conduct thorough investigations on counterparties for adverse information, reputational risks, inappropriate practices, or behaviors.
  • Evaluate new counterparties and categorize them accordingly.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation and process transactions efficiently.
  • Monitor and correct discrepancies in pending items.
  • Launch investigations, provide critical information, and compose relevant correspondence.
  • Optimize operational efficiency by leveraging technology effectively.
  • Risk assessment and application of risk metrics to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Resolve technical issues with reconciliation tools and file management.
Governance & Risk
  • Ensure accuracy in task completion.
  • Meet assigned tasks within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Achieve service standards and client-specific requirements through quality assurance, daily reporting, and end-of-month reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, policy, and business requirements.

Experience & Attributes
  • 2-4 years of experience in Financial/Capital Markets, preferably in Transfer Agency operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, both independently and supporting others.
  • Exceptional time management skills, flexibility, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Openness to change and willingness to challenge the status quo with improvement proposals.
