Reconciliation Specialist Role

The Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for gathering posting and reconciling payments that are received by Revenue Team including daily weekly and monthly reconciliation The individual integrates in-depth recon area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.

  • Good understanding of insurance accounting good accounting background and reporting understanding understanding of reconciliation open items resolution of open items
  • Maintaining accuracy and efficiency in processing financial transactions
  • Identifying discrepancies resolving issues and correcting errors to ensure timely payment
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders to resolve any account variances
  • Maintaining accurate records and generating reports according to department protocols
  • Improving internal processes systems and procedures as needed to enhance overall performance
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Any relevant accounting college degree with 3-7 years of experience
  • Good knowledge of technical accounting principles
  • Experience working with spreadsheets applications and software applications
  • Strong mathematical organizational skills attention to detail
  • Effective verbal written communication skills
