Customer Service Specialist Role

Job Summary:

This customer-facing role is focused on delivering exceptional service support and collections via phone calls.

The ideal candidate should possess experience in RCM/DME for a minimum of 1 year, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key responsibilities include making outbound calls to insurance companies and end customers, verifying eligibility, obtaining authorizations, and updating patient information.

Inbound calls require working as part of a team, providing first-class, professional customer service using various communication methods.

Essential skills and competencies include a neutral accent, good adaptability to US culture, ability to resolve customer queries at the first point of contact, and focus on delivering a positive customer experience.

The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and contribute to process improvements.

Formal education and experience requirements include graduation from any stream and 12-24 months of international voice (inbound/outbound) process experience preferably in patient handling or provider/dme AR calling.

  • Assess and resolve inquiries, requests, and complaints over the telephone, ensuring customer inquiries are resolved at the first point of contact.
  • Utilize sound judgment and make decisions within established procedures for each service request, including logging, processing, and tracking inquiries.
  • Manage and update customer interactions daily, generated through workflows and queues, on an account-wise basis.
  • Adhere to agreed key performance indicators, service level agreements, and quality standards to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Use business tools and industry knowledge updates to identify problem areas and document business requirements.
