Job Title: Financial Research Expert

This role involves conducting comprehensive macroeconomic research and industry analysis across various asset classes, including Equities, Bonds, FX, and Commodities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial modelling and statistical analysis skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on global economic trends and their impact on the financial markets
  • Analyse fundamental drivers of industry performance and develop investment theses
  • Prepare detailed research reports to support trading, sales, and marketing activities
  • Create diversified portfolios for clients based on their specific needs and risk tolerance
  • Develop knowledge of structured products and prepare investment pitches for wealth management solutions
  • Utilise advanced financial modelling and statistical analysis skills to inform investment decisions
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters terminals is highly desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA certification preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Experience in preparing investment theses and constructing diversified portfolios is essential
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg and Reuters terminals is required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organisational skills
