About the opportunity:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of systems, implementing preventive measures and boosting system resilience through automation, problem-solving at scale and performance optimization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engineering reliability: Identify potential system issues early, implement preventive measures and boost system resilience through expert analysis and implementation.
  • Automating tasks for speed: Develop tools, pipelines and scripts that eliminate manual effort and enable rapid secure deployments through efficient process management.
  • Solving problems at scale: Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), drive corrective and preventive actions and prioritize improvements in the SRE backlog through strategic planning.
  • Optimizing performance: Apply programming and scripting expertise (Python, Bash etc.) to strengthen infrastructure and services through continuous improvement.
  • Mentoring and growth: Share knowledge with peers, champion best practices and push for innovation through collaborative learning.
  • Continuously evolving: Stay ahead of new technologies, adapt quickly and help shape the future of IT systems through innovation and progress.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in Java, Python, Bash or similar programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience designing & maintaining CI/CD pipelines through efficient process management.
  • Strong incident response & problem-solving mindset through analytical thinking.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and drive innovation through creative problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native platforms and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
