Game Art Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Game Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and creating 2D and 3D assets, including characters, environments, props, icons, and VFX. You will also work closely with the Game Designer to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, as well as produce intuitive UI elements such as menus, HUDs, buttons, popups, and inventories.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating both 2D and 3D art skills, proficiency in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Blender, Maya (or equivalents), and a solid understanding of game UI/UX principles. Experience preparing optimized assets for Unity or Unreal Engine is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Create Assets: Develop high-quality 2D and 3D assets, including characters, environments, props, icons, and VFX.
  • Collaborate on UI/UX Design: Work with the Game Designer to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and produce intuitive UI elements.
  • Export and Prepare Assets: Ensure seamless integration of assets into the engine by exporting and preparing them accordingly.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Artistic Skillset: Possess a strong portfolio demonstrating both 2D and 3D art skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Be proficient in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Blender, Maya (or equivalents).
  • UI/UX Understanding: Have a solid understanding of game UI/UX principles.
  • Asset Optimization: Experience preparing optimized assets for Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaborate in small teams.
  • Communication: Strong communication and time management skills.


Bonus Requirements:
  • Animation Experience: Experience with animation (2D/3D or UI motion).
  • Shaders/Material Setup: Familiarity with shaders/material setup in game engines.
  • Game Enthusiasm: Passion for playing and analyzing a wide range of games.
  • Live Product Experience: Previous experience on live products or shipped games.
